Charity sporting events scheduled in Alcalá de Henares and Valencia

Several charity sporting events are scheduled to take place in Spain. In Alcalá de Henares, the VI Cruz Roja Corredor Norte Vertical Race will be held at Torre Garena on October 17. Participants will climb 288 steps across 16 floors to raise funds for Cruz Roja social projects. The event includes elite athletes, emergency services personnel, and firefighters.

In Valencia, the XI Valencia Contra el Cáncer race is set for October 18. The event features a six-kilometer competitive run, as well as walking, skating, and Nordic walking activities. All participation proceeds will be donated to cancer research. Local authorities have planned special traffic management and public transport adjustments to accommodate the event.
