Charity sports events raise funds for social causes in Italy and Germany

Various sporting events in Italy and Germany have been held to raise funds for charitable organizations.

In Lucca, Italy, the ninth edition of the ‘10x1ORA-Una corsa per’ non-competitive charity relay took place at Campo Coni. The event raised 4,000 euros, which was donated to the Il Sorriso di Stefano Odv association. These funds will support projects such as the Casa Campesina in Peru, which provides meals to children, as well as local inclusive football programs and manual workshops for youth.

In Germany, a tennis tournament was held at Arena Astra to benefit the Sara Mazzi association. The event featured six singles matches aimed at promoting blood and organ donation, as well as social inclusion. Participants contributed donations to support the association’s work with children and adolescents.
