Charity Walks in England Support Prostate Cancer Awareness and Veteran Rehabilitation

A fourth‑annual March for Men with Kev will take place in Petersfield on 13 September, continuing a charity walk that honors the late Kevan Birkett and raises awareness of prostate cancer. Organisers expect the event to attract hundreds of participants and aim to build on the previous year’s £35,000 raised for groups such as Prostate Cancer UK, PCaSO and the Rosemary Foundation.

Separately, Royal Navy veteran Marc Andrew, a survivor of a rare brain tumour, is preparing for a 25‑km fundraising trek across Dartmoor in September. The walk supports Help for Heroes, the charity that assisted him during his treatment and recovery, and helps fund assistance for other injured service members and their families.
