Charles Duke suggests UFOs may be demonic deceptions

Former NASA astronaut Charles Duke, who participated in the Apollo 16 Moon mission in 1972, has suggested that unidentified flying objects (UFOs) may be demonic deceptions rather than extraterrestrial visitors.

Speaking to the Christian Broadcasting Network, the 91-year-old Duke referenced Biblical passages to support his view, suggesting that such phenomena could be used to mislead people away from Christian faith. He shared a personal anecdote regarding a prayer for a sign, which he believed was answered when a friend unexpectedly initiated a conversation about UFOs.

While Duke's comments have sparked discussion involving various public figures, his claims are personal religious interpretations and are not supported by scientific evidence. Other religious voices have expressed caution, noting that the existence of extraterrestrial intelligence does not inherently conflict with religious doctrines regarding the vastness of creation.
