Charles Eldon Taylor, 77, dies in Kamloops, Canada

Charles Eldon Taylor (December 14, 1948 – July 20, 2026) died at age 77 at Kamloops Royal Inland Hospital in British Columbia. Born in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, he served in the Navy, pursued gold‑mining, and spent more than three decades working for Jacobson Brothers Mill (now Tolko Mill) in Williams Lake.

He is survived by his third wife Rebecca Fairburn, three sons—Darcy, Paul and Raymond—step‑children, 15 grandchildren, 14 great‑grandchildren and three step‑grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and siblings. A Celebration of Life will be held on September 26 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Senior’s Activity Centre, 176 4th Avenue North, Williams Lake.
