Charles Leclerc forced to flee crowd of fans in Baku

Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc was forced to flee a crowd of fans in Baku following the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The incident occurred as Leclerc was leaving a restaurant, where he was surrounded by a large group of people.

Despite being accompanied by two security agents, the crowd proved difficult to contain. Leclerc reportedly positioned himself in front of his pregnant partner, Alexandra Saint Mleux, to draw the crowd's attention toward himself and allow her to move away safely.

Footage of the incident has been brought to the attention of the FIA. However, the governing body has limited jurisdiction in such matters, as driver security outside of the circuit remains the primary responsibility of the individual's team and private security detail.
