Charles Leclerc shifts Monza GP accommodation amid team critiques

Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc is changing his accommodation arrangements for the upcoming Italian Grand Prix weekend in Monza. For the first time during his tenure with the team, he will stay at a hotel in Milan rather than his usual residence at the Hotel de la Ville in Monza. This decision is driven by a demanding schedule in Milan, including sponsor events at Palazzo Reale and meetings with Ferrari clients.

Separately, former Formula 1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya has criticized Leclerc regarding his conduct during the Dutch Grand Prix. Montoya claimed that Leclerc’s decision to disregard pit wall instructions created a “terrible” atmosphere within the team. Montoya suggested that by not following engineering orders, Leclerc signaled that he considers himself above team instructions, which could lead to internal friction.
