Charles Oakley discusses wife Angela's role on Real Housewives of Atlanta

Former NBA star Charles Oakley discussed his experience appearing on the reality series ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ during an interview on BET’s ‘For The Fellas’. Oakley noted that Bravo had been pursuing his wife, Angela Oakley, for several years before the couple decided to join the franchise.

Oakley described the filming process as emotionally taxing, stating that the show can be ‘draining’ for his wife. He mentioned that he supports her through the pressures of the production. Additionally, Oakley observed that his presence on the show has attracted a male viewership to the typically female-oriented program.
