Charles Spencer announces new memoir about Princess Diana

Earl Spencer has announced his upcoming book, ‘Swan Song: Diana, My Sister’, describing it as his ‘most personal work’ and a ‘brother’s simple tribute to an extraordinary sister’. Scheduled for release on September 22, the memoir is expected to be published globally and translated into 12 languages.

The book will chronicle Princess Diana’s early life, her marriage to the current King Charles, and the period following her death in a 1997 car accident in Paris. Spencer aims to provide an unprecedented inside account of the events that impacted the House of Windsor and the global public response.

Spencer, who also recorded an audiobook version of the work, noted that the project is intended to tell the truth about his sister from his perspective, maintaining an openly positive tone similar to the eulogy he delivered at her funeral.
