Charleston Battery to face Birmingham Legion FC in USL Championship

Charleston Battery will face Birmingham Legion FC on Saturday, September 12, in a USL Championship regular season match. The game is scheduled for 7:00 PM ET at Dunnavant Valley Fields, following a venue change from Protective Stadium due to scheduling conflicts.

Charleston Battery currently sits second in the Eastern Conference with a record of 12 wins, 8 losses, and 3 draws. They are looking to recover from a recent 1-2 loss to Hartford Athletic. Birmingham Legion FC holds 11th place with 3 wins, 9 losses, and 9 draws, currently enduring a four-game winless streak.

Historically, Charleston has held the advantage in recent years, maintaining an eight-game unbeaten run against Birmingham since 2019. A victory for Charleston could put them in a position to clinch a postseason berth as early as September 19.
