Charli XCX launches global cinema preview events for new album “Music, Fashion, Film”

Charli XCX will preview her upcoming seventh studio album, Music, Fashion, Film, at independent cinemas worldwide from July 9 to July 11. The advance‑listening sessions are scheduled in 25 cities across North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Mexico and Japan, including venues such as New York’s Metrograph, London’s The Castle Cinema, Paris, Berlin, Tokyo, Sydney, Melbourne and São Paulo. Fans can register via the singer’s website to hear all 11 tracks together before the official release on July 24.

The album’s 11‑track listing, revealed on Instagram, features the previously released singles “Rock Music,” “SS26” and “Wink Wink.” The closing song, “No One Lasts Forever,” includes a guest appearance by horror filmmaker David Cronenberg. To promote the record, Charli XCX has also announced a 12‑date North American arena tour beginning in Philadelphia on September 11.

The initiative marks a shift from the usual streaming‑first rollout, turning the album launch into a shared, cinematic experience for fans around the globe.
