Charli XCX performs at Reading Festival

Charli XCX performed her first full UK set from her ‘Music, Fashion, Film’ era at the Reading Festival. Despite heavy rain at the event, the performance featured a full live band and a group of dancers dressed in black.

The set included tracks from her latest record, such as ‘Rock Music’ and ‘Nothing Lasts Forever’, alongside classics from her ‘Brat’ album like ‘360’, ‘Von Dutch’, and ‘Guess’. She also performed songs from her February release, ‘Wuthering Heights’, including ‘House’, which features spoken word by Welsh singer John Cale.

Additional tracks performed included B-sides ‘Playboy Bunny’ and ‘If You Take Away The Music Then What Has She Got?’. The production utilized fireworks and flames during the performance.
