Charli xcx releases new album featuring David Cronenberg

Pop artist Charli xcx has released her eighth studio album, titled ‘Music, Fashion, Film’. The project features an unexpected collaboration with Canadian film director David Cronenberg, who provides a spoken-word performance on the track ‘No One Lasts Forever’. Recorded in a Toronto studio, the six-minute song features Cronenberg delivering a meditation on mortality and legacy.

Charli xcx is currently touring in support of the new album, following the massive success of her previous work, ‘Brat’. The ‘Music, Fashion, Film’ tour is described as a high-concept, cinematic arena show designed to reflect her specific artistic vision rather than catering to mainstream expectations. The North American leg of the tour is scheduled to conclude in October, with a European leg following in February.
