Charli XCX responds to criticism over limited European tour dates

Charli XCX has addressed fan disappointment regarding the limited number of dates announced for her upcoming ‘Music, Fashion, Film’ tour leg in the UK and Europe. The tour, which supports her latest album, includes only six scheduled stops in cities such as Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester, London, Amsterdam, and Paris.

Responding to criticism on social media, the British singer explained that the physical and emotional demands of touring prevent her from committing to a more extensive schedule. She stated, “I am really sorry if you feel disappointed, but I have to honor my truth as an artist: touring is really emotionally and physically hard for me.” She added that while she respects artists capable of high-octane, lengthy tours, she is not one of them.

The tour is set to begin in Philadelphia on September 11, 2026, and will conclude in Paris on February 24, 2027. Audrey Hobert is scheduled to appear as a special guest for the dates.
