Charli XCX Set to Release Album “Music, Fashion, Film” on July 24, 2026
British pop artist Charli XCX will launch her seventh studio album, Music, Fashion, Film, on 24 July 2026. The record contains eleven songs lasting just over half an hour, and its title is taken from a lyric in the single “SS26”. The cover, a black‑and‑white photo by Aidan Zamiri, depicts three cultural figures—musician John Cale, designer Marc Jacobs and filmmaker Martin Scorsese—representing each word of the title.
The album is produced by longtime collaborator A.G. Cook alongside Finn Keane, continuing the partnership that began with the Vroom Vroom EP. Charli’s previous 2024 album Brat earned two Grammys (Best Dance/Electronic Album and Best Album Cover) before she announced that era was “dead”. She has repeatedly emphasized that her new work does not fit any single genre, describing genre labels as “an outdated notion”.
A separate music roundup of 2026 releases highlighted Charli’s soundtrack contribution to the film adaptation of “Wuthering Heights”, citing it among ten notable albums of the year, underscoring the growing anticipation around her 2026 output.
