Charlie Clark films UFO documentary in Chile

American actor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Charlie Clark is returning to Chile to continue filming a documentary focused on unidentified flying objects (UFOs). Working alongside Chilean researcher and content director Rodrigo Fuenzalida, the project aims to explore mysterious phenomena such as ‘la luz mala’—enigmatic lights reported in sparsely populated areas.

Filming will focus on regions including Puerto Natales, the road connecting Puerto Natales to Punta Arenas, Laguna Blanca, Cerro Castillo, and Torres del Paine. The documentary, produced by Clark’s Chilean production company ‘Trío de la Luz’, intends to blend reality, fiction, and metaphysical thriller elements to challenge perceptions of reality.

Chile is noted as one of the top five countries globally for UFO sightings due to its extreme geography and clear skies, according to the Agrupación de Investigaciones Ovniológicas (AION). The project is expected to reach Chilean cinemas by 2027.
