Charlie Cox confirms involvement in unannounced SEGA video game

Actor Charlie Cox, known for his role in Marvel's Daredevil, has confirmed his involvement in an unannounced video game project with SEGA. Speaking to IGN at New York Comic Con 2026, Cox revealed that he has completed extensive voice recording work for the title, noting that the process was significantly more demanding than his previous role in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Cox reported that the project required approximately 40 hours of dialogue recording. He shared an anecdote regarding the recording sessions, stating that the development team was surprised to discover he is British, as they had expected an American actor for the role. Consequently, Cox had to record numerous hours of dialogue using an American accent.

While the specific title, character, or developer of the SEGA project remains undisclosed, the scale of the voice work suggests a substantial role. This follows his performance as Gustave in the role-playing game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
