Charlie Cox confirms role in unannounced Sega video game
Actor Charlie Cox has confirmed he has completed recording for an unannounced video game developed by Sega. Speaking at New York Comic-Con 2026, Cox revealed that he recorded approximately 40 hours of dialogue for the project.
Cox noted that the process was challenging, specifically mentioning that he had to perform the lines in an American accent. He shared that the production crew initially expected an American actor, leading to a situation where he had to record extensive dialogue in an accent he had not prepared for.
This follows Cox’s previous success in voice acting for the game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, for which he received a Best Performance nomination at the 2025 Game Awards. While the specific title of the Sega project remains unknown, Cox confirmed the work is finished.
