Charlie Kirk murder case advances as key witness granted limited immunity
Prosecutors in Utah have granted limited “use immunity” to Lance Twiggs, the romantic partner of murder suspect Tyler Robinson, allowing him to testify in person at the upcoming preliminary hearing in the Charlie Kirk killing case.
Twiggs is expected to recount statements that Robinson confessed to the September 10 2025 shooting of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University, concealed the Mauser 98 .30‑06 rifle and discarded his clothing. Robinson faces multiple felony counts, including aggravated murder, and Utah officials are seeking the death penalty.
