Charlie and Martin Sheen to star in new AMC comedy ‘Happy Jack’
Charlie Sheen and his father, Martin Sheen, are set to reunite for a new AMC multi-camera comedy series titled ‘Happy Jack’. The production has been greenlit for a six-episode first season.
Filming is scheduled to begin in Los Angeles in early 2027 at Warner Bros. Studios, specifically on the soundstage where the series ‘Friends’ was recorded. The show is slated to premiere on AMC and AMC+ later that year.
The series follows Jack Chambers, played by Charlie Sheen, a lifelong underachiever. The plot centers on his relationship with his two adult daughters, Kate and Sam, and the complications that arise when Sam introduces a boyfriend who is the same age as Jack. Martin Sheen will portray Jack’s father, a character credited with helping raise Jack's daughters.
Jim Patterson and Matt Ross, both veterans of ‘Two and a Half Men’, will serve as showrunners, writers, and executive producers. Charlie Sheen will also serve as an executive producer.
