Charlie Woods ties for eighth at Junior Players Championship

Charlie Woods achieved a career-best finish at the Junior Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass, tying for eighth place. The 17-year-old finished the tournament with a three-round total of 215, carding a 1-under 71 in his final round.

After a second-round 73 left him four shots off the lead, Woods recovered on Sunday with five birdies and four bogeys. This top-10 finish marks a significant result in one of the American Junior Golf Association’s (AJGA) major events.

Woods, a rising senior at The Benjamin School in Florida, has committed to play college golf at Florida State University starting in 2027. His performance follows a recent equipment deal with TaylorMade.
