Charlize Theron hosts Africa Outreach Project Block Party

Actress Charlize Theron recently hosted her sixth annual Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project Block Party in Los Angeles. The event, which included a performance by Kid Cudi, served as a fundraiser for her non-profit organization.

Theron used the occasion to reflect on her career and personal growth, noting that she has become more relaxed and philosophical compared to her earlier years in Hollywood. She shared advice for her younger self, suggesting she should have slowed down and enjoyed the process rather than going at “100 miles an hour.”

The Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project focuses on providing resources for sexual and reproductive health, rights, and the prevention of gender-based violence. Theron emphasized the importance of long-term support for program partners, noting that the organization has maintained relationships with its partners for 20 years to ensure sustained impact rather than short-term aid.
