Charlize Theron dazzles in Givenchy gown and topless Instagram snap at 'The Odyssey' London premiere

Oscar‑winner Charlize Theron generated extensive online reaction by posting a topless Instagram photo taken before the London premiere of Christopher Nolan’s film *The Odyssey*. In the snapshot she covered herself with her arms and wore diamond drop earrings and a bold red lip. At the premiere on July 6 she appeared in a black floor‑length Givenchy velvet gown with a high slit, a low back, white opera‑glove sleeves and black strappy stilettos. After the screening she attended the after‑party wearing the same design in a striking red version. The film, a mythic action epic starring Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway and others, is slated for worldwide release on July 17 and is being billed as one of the year’s biggest cinematic events. Theron’s role is the nymph Calypso, who holds Odysseus captive on her island.
