Charlotte Cardin cancels French concert tour due to vocal injury
Canadian singer Charlotte Cardin has announced the cancellation of her upcoming concert series in France due to a persistent vocal cord injury. The 31-year-old artist shared the news on social media, stating that her condition is not healing fast enough to allow her to perform this summer.
Following medical advice, Cardin must maintain strict vocal rest to ensure recovery. The cancellations affect several major appearances, including the V and B Fest in Château-Gontier-sur-Mayenne on August 21, Cabaret Vert in Charleville-Mézières on August 22, the Rose Festival in Aussonne on August 27, and the La Ciotat Festival scheduled for September 3.
Cardin expressed deep sadness over the situation, noting that it “breaks my heart” to cancel again after previously being forced to withdraw from a performance on August 15. For the V and B Fest, organizers have reportedly sought Adèle Castillon as a replacement.
