Charlotte Cardin cancels Ronquières Festival appearance due to laryngitis

Quebec singer Charlotte Cardin has canceled her performance at the Ronquières Festival in Belgium scheduled for Sunday, August 9, 2026, due to medical reasons.

Cardin announced via social media that she is suffering from acute laryngitis, noting that she had previously lost her voice during a performance at the Foire aux Vins de Colmar on August 5. Following medical advice, she must undergo strict vocal rest for the coming days. "It breaks my heart, but my vocal cords are injured and, on medical recommendation, I must impose strict vocal rest for the next few days," the artist stated.

The Festival de Ronquières has announced that Belgian DJ Lost Frequencies will perform to fill the vacancy before the festival's final headliner, Macklemore. Cardin's upcoming European tour schedule includes dates in Poland, Hungary, and France, pending her recovery.
