Charlotte Casiraghi discusses royal life and family history
Charlotte Casiraghi, daughter of Princess Caroline of Monaco, appeared on the Italian television program ‘Che tempo che fa’ to discuss her life, her writing, and her family heritage. During the interview with Fabio Fazio, Casiraghi addressed the complexities of growing up within the House of Grimaldi, stating that while she is proud of her family history, she often feels reduced to a public image of glamour and luxury that does not fully reflect her reality.
Casiraghi also spoke about the impact of her father Stefano Casiraghi’s death in 1990. She shared that she turned to reading and writing for solace following the accident, noting that the loss forced her to question the meaning of life. Additionally, she dismissed comparisons to her grandmother, Grace Kelly, and maintained that her upbringing was relatively normal despite her royal status.
