Charlotte Crosby clarifies social media backlash over 'cage' post

Reality television star Charlotte Crosby, known for 'Geordie Shore', faced significant social media backlash after posting a photo involving her young daughters, Alba-Jean and Pixi, and a structure she jokingly referred to as a 'time out cage'. The post drew intense criticism from followers concerned about child welfare.

Crosby later clarified the situation, explaining that the object was not a punishment device for children, but a DIY storage structure designed specifically for her daughter's stuffed animals, which she nicknamed 'Our Zoo'. She noted that the family does not use such punishments.

The controversy follows a period of personal openness for the influencer, who has recently discussed her experiences with pregnancy loss and her desire to expand her family with her fiancé, Jake Ankers.
