Charlotte FC defeats Atlanta United 2-0 in away victory

Charlotte FC secured a 2-0 away victory against Atlanta United at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Idan Toklomati opened the scoring in the 22nd minute with a close-range shot following an assist from Pep Biel, who was set up by Allan Saint-Maximin.

In the second half, Liel Abada doubled the lead with a left-footed shot from the right side of the box, assisted by Saint-Maximin during a fast break. Charlotte goalkeeper Kristijan Kahlina maintained a clean sheet with three key saves to deny Atlanta United's attempts by players such as Sérgio Santos, Steven Alzate, and Aleksey Miranchuk.

With this win, Charlotte FC reaches 35 points, maintaining fifth place in the MLS Eastern Conference standings. Their next match is scheduled against Houston Dynamo on September 5.
