Charlotte Flair discusses character evolution and WWE reputation

WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair recently discussed her career evolution and character development during an interview with Ilona Maher on ‘Power Hour’.

Flair expressed interest in exploring an on-screen romantic storyline with a male performer. She noted that while her ‘Queen’ persona is traditionally fiercely independent and dominant, a romantic pairing could allow her to showcase a lighter, more playful, and flirty side of her personality.

Additionally, Flair addressed her reputation behind the scenes, pushing back against labels of being ‘difficult’. She argued that as a woman, expressing opinions or questioning creative decisions is often unfairly judged compared to her male counterparts. She stated that she questions creative directions about 50% of the time, asserting her right to contribute her perspective after years in the industry. Flair also reflected on her personal growth, noting a shift in how she processes wins and losses, moving away from tying her self-worth strictly to victories.
