Charlotte Flair Injured in WWE Attack, Loses to Liv Morgan
On the June 19 edition of WWE SmackDown, Charlotte Flair was ambushed backstage by Jade Cargill, B‑Fab and Michin, who targeted her recently repaired knee. General Manager Nick Aldis expressed concern, but Flair chose to compete in the Queen of the Ring semifinal.
During the match, Liv Morgan focused on Flair’s injured knee and ultimately forced her to submit to a single‑leg Boston Crab, eliminating Flair from the tournament and ending her chance at a SummerSlam title shot. After the loss, Flair announced a new WWE moniker, “The People’s Queen,” on her X/Twitter account and hinted at future confrontations, including a potential match at SummerSlam 2026.
