Charlotte Flair to launch new podcast ‘Off The Pedestal’

WWE veteran Charlotte Flair, also known as Ashley Fliehr, has announced that her new podcast, ‘Off The Pedestal with Ashley Fliehr’, is scheduled to launch within the next few weeks.

Flair shared that the inspiration for the project emerged while she was recovering from a serious knee injury. During her time away from the ring, she experienced a period of questioning her identity and realized she had tied much of her self-worth to her professional wrestling career.

Rather than a standard wrestling program, Flair intends to use the platform to facilitate candid discussions among athletes regarding difficult topics, including body dysmorphia, self-worth, and the mental and emotional pressures of competing at the highest level. WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair and producer T. J. Wilson have already been recorded as guests for the series.
