Charlotte Heath takes four-shot lead at La Sella Open

England’s Charlotte Heath established a four-shot clubhouse lead at the La Sella Open after shooting a seven-under-par 65 during the second round in Spain. Heath reached 11-under par overall, positioning herself as the frontrunner heading into the weekend.

Play was suspended at 8:09 pm due to fading light, following an earlier one-hour and 40-minute delay caused by dangerous weather conditions. The interruption left several players, including defending champion Helen Briem, unable to complete their rounds.

Heath’s round included a notable front-nine 30, featuring six birdies, followed by an eagle at the par-five 12th hole. Australia’s Maddison Hinson-Tolchard currently sits in second place at seven-under par. England’s Alice Hewson and Germany’s Helen Briem are tied for third at six-under par.
