Charlotte police seize sofa-based vehicle made from electric scooters

Police in Charlotte, North Carolina, intercepted a makeshift vehicle consisting of a two-seater sofa attached to two electric scooters. The unusual contraption was spotted by officers patrolling a major city street over the weekend.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department shared the incident on social media, noting that while they appreciated the creativity, the device posed a significant safety risk. Authorities emphasized that such inventions can distract other drivers and do not meet road safety standards. The improvised vehicle was subsequently confiscated by law enforcement.
