Charly García celebrated with events in Buenos Aires for 75th birthday

Buenos Aires is hosting a series of events to celebrate the 75th birthday of legendary musician Charly García. The festivities include a recreation of his iconic Unplugged concert at the Teatro Coliseo, featuring musicians who participated in the original MTV recording, such as Fabián Quintiero, Fernando Samalea, and siblings Erika and Ulises Di Salvo.

Additionally, an exclusive screening of the audiovisual work ‘Charly García & The Prostitution: 60x60 (15 years)’ will take place at Cinemark Abasto on October 20. This project commemorates the 2011 concert series performed with his band, The Prostitution. A commemorative reissue of the 60x60 project is scheduled for release on October 23, coinciding with García's birthday, across physical and digital formats.
