Charly García celebrates 75th birthday in Buenos Aires

Argentine rock icon Charly García celebrated his 75th birthday during a private event at ‘La Fábrica’, his emblematic studio and home in Buenos Aires. The celebration was attended by a diverse group of prominent figures from the entertainment industry, including musicians Fito Páez, Ricardo Mollo, and Celeste Carballo, as well as singer Carlos Vives and actress Graciela Borges.

The festivities followed a series of tributes where fans gathered outside his residence. In addition to the birthday celebration, a new documentary series about García's life has been announced. The project, directed by Alejandro Hartmann and produced by Haddock Films for Netflix, aims to explore the legacy and impact of the artist, whom producer Vanessa Ragone described as the most iconic figure in national music.
