Charly García helped save a classic song for Miguel Zavaleta

Charly García played a decisive role in the inclusion of the song ‘Amanece en la ruta’ in a Miguel Zavaleta album. While Zavaleta was initially hesitant to include the track among the 12 selected songs, García, acting as co-producer, insisted on listening to the full material, including the rejected tracks. Upon hearing the complete recordings, García requested that one of the original tracks be replaced by ‘Amanece en la ruta’, which subsequently became a major success in Argentine rock.
