Charnay Basket defeats Helsinki Basketball Academy in Eurocup

Charnay Basket secured a comfortable victory against Helsinki Basketball Academy (HBA) in a Eurocup Group A matchup. Despite HBA maintaining a competitive presence in rebounding, the Finnish team struggled with ball security, committing 34 turnovers. Charnay Basket capitalized on these errors, converting them into 36 points.

Key performances for the French side included Alberte Rimdal, who scored 16 points with 100 percent shooting efficiency, alongside Molly Kaiser and Laura Ziegler. HBA head coach Janne Hänninen noted that while the team showed mental resilience to stay within striking distance during the third quarter, the high turnover rate ultimately decided the game.

Following the fourth round of Eurocup play, Charnay Basket sits second in Group A with 7 points, while Helsinki Basketball Academy occupies fourth place with 4 points.
