Chartered Institute of Building achieves Ofsted expected standard
The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) has achieved an ‘expected standard’ for its apprenticeship courses following its first inspection by the education regulator, Ofsted, in September. The grade is categorized as green on the provider's report card, which Ofsted describes as a positive outcome indicating the provider is meeting necessary requirements.
Having become an apprenticeship provider in 2024, CIOB offers several programs ranging from Level 3 Construction Support Technician to Level 6 BSc Design and Construction Management. Dr. Victoria Hills, CEO of CIOB, stated that the grading is a testament to the apprenticeship team's work in developing flexible courses aligned with employer needs and real-world job skills.
