Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana hosts 2026 Excellence Awards

The Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana (CIIG) held its 6th Insurance Excellence Awards on August 29, 2026, to recognize outstanding contributions within the nation’s insurance sector. Held under the theme “Professionalism Rooted in Integrity: Building a Trusted Insurance Future,” the ceremony honored various individuals and corporate entities across categories including Universal, General, Life, Broker, Pension, Health, and Reinsurance.

Notable award recipients included Ellen Amihere of Provident Insurance Company Limited, who was named Claims Professional of the Year 2025. Other winners included Paa Kwesi Koranteng as Young Insurance Professional of the Year 2025, Barbara Odoi of Serene Insurance Ltd as Professional Underwriter of the Year 2025, and Enterprise Insurance Ltd as Employee Development Company of the Year 2025.

The selection process was overseen by KPMG Ghana, which served as the official event statistician to ensure a transparent and credible outcome.
