Charvarius Ward and Monique Cook welcome newborn son

Indianapolis Colts cornerback Charvarius Ward and his fiancée, Monique Cook, have welcomed a newborn son, Chosen Mani Ward, born on September 28, 2026. The couple announced the news on Instagram on October 7.

The arrival serves as a tribute to the couple’s late daughter, Amani Joy Ward, who passed away in October 2024 at the age of 23 months. The newborn’s middle name, Mani, was chosen as a variation of Amani to honor her memory. In social media posts, Cook shared photos of the infant wearing a onesie embroidered with the words ‘baby brother,’ acknowledging the connection to his late sister.
