Charvarius Ward reports headache after wearing Guardian Cap

Indianapolis Colts cornerback Charvarius Ward reported experiencing a headache following his first game wearing a Guardian Cap. Ward, a veteran who dealt with three concussions last year, used the protective headgear during a loss to the Baltimore Ravens. While he stated, “I don’t think it’s a concussion,” he noted the physical nature of the sport, saying, “Football is a dangerous game. Whatever comes with it, comes with it.”

In other AFC news, Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. is expected to be limited this week due to a shoulder injury, though head coach Liam Coen expressed optimism regarding his availability for Week 2.

In Houston, Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair offered support to cornerback Kamari Lassiter following a difficult performance in a Week 1 loss to Buffalo. Additionally, Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans reported that linebacker Jake Hummel is considered week-to-week with a groin injury.
