Chascomús and Lobos announce cultural activities for long weekend
Various cultural and recreational activities have been scheduled across the cities of Lobos and Chascomús for the upcoming long weekend.
In Lobos, the schedule includes visits to the Pago de los Lobos Historical and Natural Sciences Museum, art exhibitions at “El Palacio” gallery, and a literary workshop focused on Manuel Mujica Lainez. Other events feature an adult golf school, an artisanal market at the Laguna waterfront, youth football tournament finals at the José Gorga Municipal Stadium, and cycling at Parque Hiriart.
In Chascomús, historical sites will host several exhibitions. The Museo Pampeano is presenting the contemporary art show “Territorios de la materia,” while the Vieja Estación Municipal Cultural Center and the Railway Museum are hosting exhibits titled “¡Aquí también estuvimos! Mujeres que alzaron barreras” and “Chascomús de antes.” Additionally, the Casa de Casco will feature a tribute to the Chascomús Artists and Artisans Movement. The Capilla de los Negros, a National Historical Monument and part of the UNESCO Slave Route, will remain open to the public with voluntary contributions.
