Chase introduces Points Boost and referral bonus opportunities

Chase has introduced a new feature called Points Boost, allowing eligible cardholders to redeem Ultimate Rewards points for select hotels and flights through Chase Travel at higher values than the standard 1 cent per point. Depending on the card and the booking, redemption values can reach between 1.5 and 2 cents per point.

Cardholders of the Chase Sapphire Reserve and Sapphire Reserve for Business can typically access values up to 2 cents per point, including select hotels within The Edit by Chase Travel. The Chase Sapphire Preferred and Ink Business Preferred cards offer slightly lower maximum values, typically topping out around 1.5 to 1.75 cents per point.

Separately, while the public 100,000-point bonus offer for the Chase Sapphire Preferred has expired and been replaced by a 75,000-point offer, the higher 100,000-point bonus may still be accessible through certain personal referral links.
