At the Diamond League final in Brussels, American shot putter Chase Jackson secured her third Diamond Trophy with a series-best throw of 21.14 meters. This performance set a new Diamond League record, surpassed the previous mark held by Jessica Schilder, and marked Jackson's personal best and a new American record. The feat is notable as it is the first time two women have thrown over 21 meters in a single season since 1990.

In the men's 400m, Botswana's Busang Collen Kebinatshipi achieved a Diamond League series record with a time of 43.40 seconds. This performance places him fifth on the all-time world list.
