Chase Sapphire Lounge named world’s best airport lounge for 2026

The 2026 Skytrax World Airline Awards have announced the rankings for the world’s best independent airport lounges. The rankings are based on global passenger satisfaction surveys regarding facilities and staff hospitality.

The Chase Sapphire Lounge at New York LaGuardia Airport was named the best lounge globally. It features a seasonal menu, craft cocktails, and amenities such as complimentary 30-minute facial treatments and guided meditation sessions.

Other top-ranked lounges include two located at New York’s JFK airport: the Capital One lounge, which offers 24-hour access and private shower suites, and the American Express Centurion Lounge. In Europe, Plaza Premium lounges secured two spots in the top ten, with the lounge at Rome Fiumicino Airport taking second place and another located at London Heathrow.
