Chase Sapphire Preferred Card adds 100,000‑point bonus and $100 hotel credit
The Chase Sapphire Preferred® credit card is now offering a new sign‑up bonus of 100,000 points for new cardholders who spend $5,000 within the first three months. Existing Sapphire Reserve holders can still qualify for this bonus as long as they have never been the primary account holder of a Sapphire Preferred card or earned its bonus before, and they meet the bank’s 5/24 rule and credit‑score requirements.
In addition, cardholders receive an annual $100 hotel credit when they book a stay through the Chase Travel® portal. The credit is applied automatically to the statement, requires no registration, and has no minimum spend or length‑of‑stay conditions. To use it, members book a hotel via Chase Travel, pay with the Sapphire Preferred card (or a mix of points and cash), and the credit is posted after the charge posts. The benefit does not apply to bookings made directly with hotels, and elite‑status benefits may not carry over when booking through the third‑party portal.
