Chase Ultimate Rewards offers 30% Southwest transfer bonus and details United MileagePlus transfers

From May 15 to June 5 2026, Chase Ultimate Rewards will add a 30% bonus when members transfer points to Southwest Rapid Rewards, converting the standard 1,000:1,000 ratio to 1,000:1,300. The promotion is unlimited and instantaneous, marking only the second bonus for Southwest in more than five years.

Chase also provides a step‑by‑step guide for transferring points to United MileagePlus. Eligible cards include the Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Reserve Business, Sapphire Preferred, Ink Business Preferred, Freedom Flex and Freedom Unlimited. Transfers occur at a 1:1 ratio in 1,000‑point increments, usually appear instantly but can take up to seven business days. The guide notes that while Chase points are valued higher than United miles, transfers can still be worthwhile for high‑value redemptions.
