Chase updates credit card bonuses and fee structures

Chase has introduced several updates to its credit card offerings, including targeted sign-up bonuses and changes to card features. Some customers are reportedly receiving targeted offers for the Chase Sapphire Reserve featuring 175,000 points after $6,000 in spending, which is significantly higher than the standard public offer of 100,000 points. Other targeted bonuses include 125,000 points for the Chase Sapphire Preferred and a $300 bonus for the Chase Freedom Unlimited.

Additionally, Chase has announced that the Chase Freedom Flex will no longer charge foreign transaction fees, making it more viable for international use. New cardholders for the Freedom Flex can also earn a $250 bonus after spending $500 in the first three months. Other updates include the introduction of Points Boost offers for certain hotel bookings through the Chase Travel portal and a cosmetic refresh for the Freedom Flex card.
