OpenAI flags X manipulation campaign as firms launch ChatGPT services

OpenAI reported that a coordinated operation used ChatGPT to generate posts on X that criticized U.S. technology policies, promoted pro‑PRC narratives and spread misinformation about tariffs. The activity, run in Simplified Chinese and other languages, was classified as a Category One operation with limited reach.

Radisson Hotel Group and Accenture introduced a ChatGPT‑based app that lets travelers search, compare and book more than 1,000 Radisson properties worldwide through natural‑language conversation. The service integrates live inventory and rates, aiming to make AI a new touchpoint for hotel discovery.

Fintech firm Revolut announced a partnership with OpenAI to provide its retail customers free access to ChatGPT Go for periods ranging from three to twelve months, depending on the subscription tier. The offer expands Revolut’s digital‑service bundle and targets users seeking advanced AI productivity tools.

OpenAI’s new “ChatGPT Work” feature was tested in a series of experiments that showed the model can open local folders, manipulate files, interact with web pages and even build and host simple web apps, though performance was mixed and some tasks failed or stalled.
