Chavimochic provides technical assistance to Hass avocado producers in La Libertad

The Chavimochic Special Project (PECH) has provided technical assistance to Hass avocado producers in Cascas, located in the Gran Chimú province of La Libertad. Through a field school intervention, members of the PROPALH Hass Avocado Producers Association received training on fertilization, irrigation management, and the preparation of bioles for sustainable crop management.

In addition to agricultural techniques, the program included training on digital marketing and brand creation to improve product commercialization. The National Agricultural Health Service (SENASA) also participated, providing guidance on controlling the fruit fly, a pest that impacts various crops in the region.
